Chepstow is surrounded by an outstanding network of off-road trails. This page provides information about how to find these trails and which trails might suit your riding abilities etc.

Shop Rides
Shop rides are an opportunity for mountain bikers to get together, and maybe discover some new trails!
The nature and difficulty of the route will be decided at the beginning of each ride, depending on the wishes of those who come along.
Meet between 6.30/6.45pm outside 559 shop front, on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
During the darker months of the year, please ensure you bring adequate lighting.

MTB Routes
Chepstow Park Wood
Chepstow park wood tends to drain very well, and so offers some great year-round riding.
Road Routes
Chepstow - Trellech - St Briavels
44km, 800m Climbing.Starting in Chepstow, this route takes you out on the B4294 through Devauden, Llanishen and on to Trellech. From Trellech, the climbing steepens for a short while - taking you up to The Narth and then descending down to Whitebrook. After Whitebrook, cross the River Wye at Bigsweir Bridge and tackle the climb up to St Briavels. From St Briavels, follow the B4228 back to Chepstow.
